After the action in 2001, plus developments to the slope, the event has just taken a serious kick into the realms of the huge event sector. Confirmed riders for the event so far are: Cyril Neri, who is ranked in the Snowboard World Top 20 for Big Air and Half Pipe (and he's a real nice bloke with it). There's also Swiss riders Alex Coudray, Mederic Landois and Anthony Holland and UK legends Mark Hartley, Paul Cooper and Rob Yoemans. Not forgetting superstar Snowblader Mike Wakefield who managed 30 inverted tricks in his last comp. Provisional riders for the event are: Jonas Emery who is a bit handy in the pipe, Pascal Imhof and Mickael Deschenaux, who can pull some mean tricks too. So if all this hasnt got you foaming at the mouth yet, there's also the wicked parties. On Saturday night it's the "Salomon Chill Zone Party" and on the Sunday the infamous and huge NY SUSHI Big Bang 7. Saturday 1 June | |
