Over 300 season workers converged on Chamonix this week for the 13th Boss des Bosses, the inter-resort bumps race and traditional big party of the season. Although Verbier were unable to raise a team, competitors from Chamonix, Meribel, Zermatt, Val d'Isere and, for the first time, Courchevel.

After an extremely close competition, Meribel and Courchevel tied to share the trophy. An enthusiastic boat race at the street party in town determined that Meribel should keep the cup for the first six months.
