Men's Slalom
Alain Baxter (now with blue hair)
has withdrawn from Friday's Giant Slalom to allow him to concentrate
on his specialist event, the slalom, on Saturday.
Men's Super G
Kjetil Andre Aamodt picked up his second gold of the Games,
and his 7th overall, by winning the Super G. Favourite Stefan
Eberharter finished 2nd by just 1/10th of a second. Aamodt
has now won 17 World Championship and Olympic medals.
Women's Arials
A pair of triple-twisting, double backflip jumps won Australian
Alisa Camplin this event. The silver and bronze were won by
Canadians Veronica Brenner and Deidra Dionne.
Women's Skeleton
Skeleton slider Alex Coomber will be competing today with
a chance of winning Britain's first Winter Olympic gold for
18 years. She posted the fastest time in practice yesterday
ahead of American Tristan Gale.
Women's Curling
Woohoo! The British team have reached the last four in a tense
play-off won 9-5 against Germany.
