CHRISTIE'S FUNDRAISING AUCTION

6 January 2002

After last year's successful event, a group of Britain's former ski racers have organised a second fund raising auction with the support of The British Ski & Snowboard Federation.

Ski Poster Sale and Fundraising Auction
29 January 2002 from 1830
Christie's in South Kensington

Each guest will receive a free raffle ticket, which will put you into the draw to win skis, holidays and other great prizes. Alain Baxter "The Highlander" will make the draw on the night.

This amazing evening will include:

- 21 amazing auction lots from Formula One test days to Heli-skiing
- Fantastic canapes by Edible Food Design
- Complimentary Champagne kindly donated by Veuve Cliquot
- Drinks provided by sponsors Holsten Pills and Drambuie
- Free raffle draw with 50 great prizes

Guests will also have the opportunity to preview Christie's famous Ski Poster auction as well as meeting members of the British Team and giving them a good send off to the Olympics.

Last year's fund raiser attracted 750 guests along with various celebrities and the national media and raised £35,000 for the team. This level of support has helped considerably and Alain Baxter is now ranked in the World's Top 10 slalom skiers, as well as claiming 4th place in the World Cup finals earlier this year.
