An historic day - at 10.23 today, Rob Funnell became the 1000th member of the CdS - our club exclusively for season workers.

Two and a half years after the Club launched, we now able to offer more value than ever to members. The number of benefits have increased and currently members are able to get discounts on snowboards, backcountry equipment, holidays, videos, movie tickets and ski show tickets. Plus members get prority invitations to the various events run by Natives and others.

Members can also search the Club database to see who will be working in their resort this winter, or for previous workers of different resorts or of different companies.

Job seekers who have never done a season before can see what other season workers remember as their Best of... and Worst of Times, plus their sagacious Words of Wisdom.

As Jonathan Pughe put it in an email to us just after he joined: "Nice idea. I have already contacted two people that I spent alot of funny times with in Meribel in '98. Internet, eh! Briwwiant!!!!"
