Salomon, Fall Line Skiing and Natives are searching for an up and coming freerider to join the Salomon Pro team. If you think you could be the next Jim Adlington, then read on because this is for you.

Only a few years ago, Jim was a night porter at a hotel - now he's a pro rider for Salomon. JIm couldn't believe his luck when he bumped in to Eric Davis, Salomon sales manager, in the Val d'Isere hotel where he worked and convinced him to check out his portfolio. Become a Salomon Sponsored Freerider
We're now giving you the chance to follow in the footsteps of one of Britain's hottest sponsored freeriders (rather than simply 'faking it').

We're not just looking for a great skiers, but someone who epitomises the spirit of freeride. Young, or young at heart, you'll love the mountains, live the lifestyle, and be a piste, powder or park junkie.

How do you get your chance to join the team?

1. Buy a copy of this month's Fall Line Skiing magazine (available Monday 24 September).
2. Complete the form on page 6
3. Tell us in 100 words or less what freeride means to you and why Salomon should sponsor you
4. Return your entry including your portfolio, with photos and competition results.

What will happen next?

Ten riders will be invited to session at the SnoZone Milton Keynes with Salomon pro riders. Those ten contestants will be judged by Jim Adlington, representatives from Salomon and Fall Line Skiing.

The best will be short listed and invited to join the Fall Line Ski Test in April 2002. There one skier (or maybe more if you're all that good!) will be chosen to be a Salomon freerider, taking home full Salomon product sponsorship.
