This will be the 6th year of the event, which provides a showcase for the world's best riders and skaters. Board-X is about the riding more than anything. The London Big Air has become a major feature on the pro-riding calendar and will be played out this year on a 80 metre real snow slope. With top national and international riders competing for the bulging prize purse, the high standard of riding set over the previous years seems set to be matched if not beaten. Both a vert and midi ramp will be the playground for the UK's top skaters and BMXers. With tunes provided by top DJs, the comps will explode! Another new feature for 2001 is a snowskate fun park where both pros and the public can mess around. Inside the exhibition hall, three bars take care of the shopping induced thirst while the chill zones provide the perfect atmosphere in which to soak up the vibe. The video room will be showing the new season's snow and skate releases on a massive screen and, should you be so inspired, you can see what all the fuss is about on the public trial slope staffed by qualified BSA instructors. Watch out for more news and coverage of Board X on Natives in due course. Board-X
