WINTER EASYJET FLIGHTS GO ON SALE

9 July 2001

Seats on easyJet flights between 28 October 2001 and 30 March 2002 officially went on sale as of midday Saturday 7 July.

We've had a quick look round and either there's lots of early birds out there, or those great £9 fares just don't exist anymore. Regardless if you can commit to dates, you should be able to rustle up a return to Geneva for less than £50 including taxes.

If you're not familiar with the whole 'discount flights' model, the gist is that fares generally increase as the departure date gets closer. You should also remember, to get the lowest fares, it helps to be flexible - fly out and back midweek, late evening or early morning and you're more likely to get a good deal.

Routes out to Geneva include:

* London Gatwick: increasing to three daily flights
* Liverpool: extra flights only during peak season
* London Luton: increasing to four daily flights.

Our new travel area will offer more advice on getting out to the Alps. Watch out for this going live soon.
