Following her sister's win last year, hot favourite Amanda Pirie (Loughborough University) lived up to her World ranking status to take both giant slalom and slalom titles at the British Universities Ski Championships in Saalbach Hinterglemm in Austria with Laura Westmacott (Newcastle University) in second place.

Having snatched the giant slalom title from David Houston by less than two tenths of a second, men's favourite Blair Aitken (Edinburgh) failed to finish the slalom, which was won by former British Land Team racer Tim Fawke (Nottingham Trent).

The men's GS team title went to Heriot Watt University while Oxford won the slalom. Both female slalom and GS titles were comfortably won by Loughborough.

In the blue riband Big Air event, Bristol University's Paul Harnett and Katherine Stew (Strathclyde) won the skiers' event while Mike Rhodes (Southampton) and Lilly Dennis (Nottingham) took the boarders' titles.
