In
1981, working out of a tiny office in Leicester Square, a
new company called Crystal Holidays started up.
Two
decades on, the company is planning to celebrate its 20th
anniversary in style with a massive Staff Reunion Party
at the famous Ministry of Sound nightclub in London.
Crystal has booked out the entire venue
for the evening of Wednesday 2 May 2001 and the company
is promising an evening of grooving and nostagia, with music
and faces from the last 20 years.
If
you have ever worked for the company, either in the UK or
overseas, you are invited to attend.
Chris Evangelou, Crystal's Marketing Director, says that staff
from the past are particularly welcome. 'Our current staff
are already really looking forward to it,' Chris told Natives.
'However, we really do want to encourage as many previous
employees as possible to come along and catch up with old
friends.' So if you
know anyone who used to work for Crystal, who you think would
be interested, please tell them about this event.
Admission to the party is strictly by
pre-registration only. Any current or ex-employees wishing
to attend should pre-register their interest by emailing their
details (including a postal address) to twentyyears@crystalholidays.co.uk
Alternatively you can fax 020 8546 2695
or telephone Suzanne Bailey (0208 939 5146) or Alison Ferris
(0208 939 5140).
To
limit the number of no shows there is a small cover charge,
but this will be ploughed back into the event with each ticket
holder being entitled to at least three free drinks.
It looks like it's going to be a night
to remember (although apparently nostalgia ain't what it used
to be...).
Whether you're going or not, watch out
for coverage and pictures of the night here on Natives...
