Better than girls? Better than football even? For some Top Trumps is quite simply the best game ever invented.

Fast cars, fighter planes and all things exciting have been covered by Top Trumps and now it's the turn of our beloved extreme sports.

This spring Snowboarding Top Trumps, the first in the series will be available in all good toy and snowboarding shops (is there a difference?).

Jason Horton, from Document Snowboarding magazine, was approached by Top Trumps earlier this year to put together the snowboard set.

'It was great fun putting it together,' Jason told Natives. 'Each rider is rated for their skills in each of six categories - Air, Speed, Style, Freestyle, Freeride and Extreme.'

There are 30 riders in total including Brits Danny Wheeler, Lesley McKenna and James Stentiford, plus international riders like Keir Dillon, Tat Dakadies and, top Top Trump, Terje Haakenson.

Watch out for the set hitting the shops in the next few months, with skateboarding and BMX editions hot on its heels.
