THE DUAL SLALOM CHALLENGE

What is this Slalom Challenge then?
Simply a great day out on the mountain, combining racing, music, food and fun. The point is to have a good time and for those who want to compete, to show who's fastest in the Three Valleys.

Each tour operator, bar or group of mates can enter as many teams as they like.

What's going on?.

What's the race format?
Teams need to be made up of five racers - each must have at least two boarders and one member of the opposite sex.

The race is a simple Dual Slalom (ie two courses set parallel to each other), with a small kicker towards the bottom. As soon as one skier gets to the bottom the next team member can start.

The team that finishes first wins...except that the judges will have the option to award a race to a team who finished the race second if it is decided they were significantly more impressive off the kicker

I'm a bit worried about this kicker!
Don't worry - the whole point of the day is to have fun. The kicker's an optional - there's a small drop-off as well. The kicker's there for anyone who wants to impress! If we're lucky, we might tempt Pat Sharples into a demo...

How much does it cost to enter?
The entry fee is 150ff per team of five. This includes all race costs and food from the BBQ. The event is free to spectators.
