Nottingham
University won a close vote in the second tense election
of the week confirming them as the organising committee
for BUSC 2002.
The vote was taken on Friday night
at the Dry Slope Championships in Edinburgh. Despite a strong
challenge from Heriot Watt and Napier Universities, Nottingham
eventually won by a margin of 12 to 9. Other bids from the
Uni of Herts and Greenwich University did not reckon in
the final count.
The Dry Slopes themselves were a great
success with over 250 competitors taking part. Full results
