'wot

- you only work nights, you drink lots, and you get
all day in the powder, easy!';'Male escort (Aspen) -
Easy money!';'Ops Mgr in N America isn't all that bad!';'The
Handyman!!!! Noone knows where he is and what he does!!';'Handyman!!!
- never to be found!!! - 'where is the bloody hanyman
now my boss cried all last season?' the simple answer
was drinkng Yorkshire Tea in the hidden basement shed
in Montgenevre (hotel les rois mages). failing that
out snowblading somewhere!!!';'Assistant - It's the
only job where you don't have to be polite to guests
at 7am';'having started my season as a plongeur, I was
later promoted to a ski guide - believe me, having worked
as both ski guiding is with out doubt the better job';'I
was a chalet host and with a lot of hard work and organisation
I managed 5 hours of skiing 6 days a week, you also
get paid more than plongeurs, but have more responsibility
eg accounts and guests screaming at you.';'Saving up
and waiting for the day ...':'Landlord, doctor or the
Mayor of Courchevel';'Waitress/Chambermaid';'I was a
barman in the last season of the equipe in Courchevel, ski
all day and in the bar all night,no contest man';'Professional
Billy with a large weekly trust fund allowance would
be pretty good...Has anyone got a spare trust fund please??????'';'HOTEL
HOST';'Night watchman, I had the job to end all jobs
at the Hotel Cygnaski in Val (1988) and my schedule
was as follows. begin work at midnight, clean lobby
floors and great drunken billies and natives as they
arrived from the bars, 2Am or so after it quited down
I would write letters home or entries in journal, 5am
greet the bread man and spend 10 to 15 minutes practicing
my french. 6am set up dining room for breakfast service
7am off work , eat breakfast pack a free lunch from
the kitchen then get dressed to ski and at 830-900 be
the first on the lifts. Ski till 2pm or so be back in
Hotel by 3 or 4 go to sleep and wake up at 11PM to start
it all over again. The only problem was there was no
snow the year I came over to do this. I would like to
try handling the "billies" again some year maybe after
I retire.':'I was resort manager among other jobs in
10 yrs. My plonguers had generally more brains than
anyone else probably including me. Anyone want's to
debate this statement please get in touch!!!!';'The
job my mate has, one day a week doing a transfer, his
package inc. food accom. lift pass (3 valleys) I gave
him the job and am still in London!!! Ahhh';'Having
had this misfortune of chauffeuring chalet hosts around
on their shopping days, I can safely say that it is
the best job, but you will become such a whinger without
realising it';'Handyman - you can hide under the bed
with a hammer pretending to bang a nail in, but really
having a cup of Yorkshire Tea or having a nap.';'plongeur-i
did it , skied every morning for the season, partied
every night, and had a totally stress free job.;'Club
Hotel Manager';'ski guiding for a lax company is the
best job in resort, but you don't find that out until
you get there!!';'girlies!!!!!!!!';'work an scav all
summer ski all winter ski season is ski season not work
time dudes come on'
