Hi there,
It's Winter Olympics time. The greatest show on snow slides into Turin this Friday. While there's a lot of must-see ski and snowboard action, we are also looking forward to the quirkier events: double luge - it just looks so, well, dodgy; short track speed skating - short track ice fight more like; biathlon - lung-busting stamina, zen-like focus and guns...these are scary guys. So, like us, keep you eyes glued, cheer on our team and read about it all on Natives.

** NATIVES WORKERS CHALLENGE IN MERIBEL...! **
Sun shone and racers sweated in everything from lycra catsuits to full camouflage army combat suits, as the Natives Workers Challenge Individual GS & team parallel slalom rutted up Meribel Stade last Wednesday.
With instructors & race trainees taking part, the standard was extremely high, but as is tradition the biggest prizes went to the winners of the Workers race categories. The Team snowboard parallel slalom saw another win for the after-party hosts, Jacks Bar All Stars, as racers downed Extreme Energy or scoffed Jacks burgers from the BBQ to keep their energy up.
Buy a Hi-Res photo of yourself in action from Adam Johnston and check your results here
Thanks are due to the event sponsors for helping Natives to distribute over €5000 of prizes: Fatface, Rossignol, Sapient, Extreme Energy, Spy Optics, Sun Helmets, Ski Club, Snowsport GB, Verbier Ride and local event partner Freeride.fr. |
