How to...go skiing in summer

Just because winter in the Alps runs from December to April, that doesn't mean the skiing has to stop. Lots of European resorts have glaciers that are open during the summer, such as Tignes, Zermatt, Saas Fee and Hintertux. Why not join us on the glacier in July in Zermatt on our Summer Weekender?

Alternatively, travel to the Southern Hemisphere and make the most of their winter. New Zealand, Australia and South America all have ski resorts, and are great places to visit for extensive backcountry.

If you don't want to travel so far, visit one of the indoor snowdomes or dry slopes around the UK. They host lots of events during the summer, including park nights, race training and competitions.
