Ski flights to Chambery launched

British Airways is launching regular ski flights from London to Chambery for the upcoming season.

The operator's subsidiary BA City Flyer will run the flights from London City Airport from 18 December until the end of March 2011.

Flights will run from London to Chambery on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with return services operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Luke Hayhoe, BA City Flyer's commercial flyer has promised an excellent all round experience for customers using the service:

"Our schedule is ideally set up to give our customers the opportunity to spend a long weekend, a full week, or even longer, skiing on some of the world's best slopes and resorts.

"Only a few short hours after taking off our customers can be in a winter wonderland of 120 ski resorts, all set amidst the majesty and splendor of the French and Swiss Alps."
