Ryanair to launch ski route

RyanairGood news for holidaymakers looking for a cheap getaway to Bulgarian ski resorts - Ryanair are launching a new ski route.

The airline will now fly to Plovdiv, which provides easy access to the resorts of Bansko and Pampavoro. Flights will depart from London Stansted, with the service starting on November 2nd and operating twice a week.

Laura McCormack, a spokesman for the airline, spoke of the company's excitement at opening the route:

"Plovdiv is Bulgaria's second largest city with a rich and varied history dating back 8000 years."

She continues: "Plovdiv makes a great city break destination and is also within easy access of the ski resorts."

Ryanair will offer fairs starting from £32.99 one way, inclusive of taxes.
