Win tix to the Ride Freesports Film Festival

The 5th Ride Freesport Film Festival, in association with Ski Club of Great Britain, takes place on Tuesday 19th October at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square, London.

Win tickets, thanks to Natives
Never let it be said that we are not generous.  We have three pairs of tickets to this exclusive night to give away.  All you have to do to enter is to email alex@natives.co.uk  saying why you should be the winner, and if you're persuasive enough, we'll see you there on the night! 

Six short ski movies in the running
The event kick starts the winter season for the UK ski market and has grown significantly since the 2006 launch. This year six movies are being shown. British Freeskier, Pat Sharples, a film maker himself, will be presenting on the night over 75 minutes of freeride and freestyle film action:

8.30pm Opening

9.00pm THE DAILY GRIND - Unity Productions
9.20pm SNOW CAMP JOURNEY - Gary Osborne
9.35pm WHAT'S YOUR LIFE LIKE (Pilot preview)
9.45pm A YEAR WITH SALOMON UK FREESKI TEAM - Pat Sharples
9.55pm LEGS OF STEEL - Thomas Hiawitschka, Bene Mayr, Tobi Reindl, Paddy Graham
10.20pm Winning Film Maker announced
10.30pm Finish

Judges will decide on best of British
All these screenings are to showcase the talent in British freeskiing and the cameramen, editors and crew that put their heart and soul into getting the perfect shots.

The short films will be judged by Phil Streather, founder of PLF (www.plf.cc) and an IMAX movie producer, Chris Carr, founder of Brain (www.brain.uk.net) Creative Concepts and Production, Rob Tucker, founder One Six productions and Nuview (www.nuview.tv) and Felix Milns, renowned ski industry journalist and tv producer.

WHEN: Tuesday 19th October, 8.30pm - 10.30pm

HOW: Get to the cinema between 8.30pm and 8.40pm to pick up wristbands and pay on the door. Tickets cost £5 and include seating at the Prince Charles Cinema, entry to the after party + 1 free drink on arrival at the Langley (www.thelangley.co.uk) in Covent Garden from 10.00pm until 1am.
