Aspen ski pass prices frozen

17 August 2010 12:29

AspenThe Aspen Skiing Company is holding its prices for two of its most popular ski passes for the forthcoming season. The resort is also resurrecting an old favourite in the form of the two-day-per-week pass.

Aspen hold prices
The resort's Premier Pass, offering unrestricted access to all four Skico areas without blackout dates will cost around £700 for members and £960 for individuals who are not chamber members - the same prices set by the resort as last season.

Season passes will be cheapest when purchased before September 24th - the 'super early deadline' according to resort officials. Prices will edge upwards in phases from September 24 and November 12.

Skico spokesman Jeff Hanle says: "The message there is buy your passes before Sept. 24" - something which 80 per cent of season pass buyers choose to take up before the first deadline.

Despite the price freezes, the Skico's full season pass remains the most expensive of all the Colorado resorts.
