Serre Chevalier is set to benefit from a new six seater chairlift as part of major improvements being made to the resort.
New stairlift for French resort The addition of a six seater chairlift is part of continuing plans from the new owners of the resort, Compagnie des Alpes, to improve the overall skiing experience in the Villeneuve and Monetier sectors.
The companay operates many of France's largest ski areas, and is looking to bring the region into line with other major resorts in the country.
The snowmaking facilities in the Chantemerle sector will also be boosted as part of increased investment in the area, with Compagnie des Alpes setting their sites on taking the resort's tally beyond the 500 snow guns mark.
