Gaffa Tape - How you use yours

16 November 2010 14:11

A while back we tried to find a definite list of seasonal uses for Gaffa tape, also known as Duck Tape or Power Tape. What we have come up with is defiantly a list. One thing to say about the season workers Tape of choice is that it provokes fond memories. One such comes from this years Summer Weekender when the Gaffa helped create a new iPhone app in the form of the Mega phone app.

What follows is the top five uses that represents the way the tape has been best used during a season.

 - Repairing clothing. Many of us have need a crotch mending on our ski pants. At times like this we reach for the power tape.

- Nipple coverage. Its cold out there and ladies still want to look good or put on the fancy dress. Please note men have sensitive nipples to.

-Repairing furniture / staff accommodation. Be it excluding drafts, sealing the crack in the bath or creating a whole new piece of furniture, it’s B&Q in a roll.

- Waxing. We are not talking the bottom of your equipment. Some season worker ladies have confessed to me for using it to make them selves look less hairy

- Taping drunks. This is either to each other or a stable object. Sometimes it’s a pint glass to hand.

So there you have it. If you have more Gaffa stories you can share them on our chat room thread. http://www.natives.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=333302#333302
