why not try the revolutionary method of sending your cv off to companies and attending any interviews they invite you to? (kind of like everyone else out there is doing)

yeah it was a little arseholey of me...

okay, the less-arseholey reply:

by the "why no job" line i assume you tried sending cvs off and havent heard anything back... its annoying, true, but it happens to a lot of people as ski companies are bombarded with applicants this time of year. don't get discouraged and keep persevering and don't take it personally.

hey, if you guys speak italian, apply for resort man @ equity, i've mailed & phoned carrie some days ago that i wouldn't be taking up the post they proposed for me @ prato nevoso. so they'll definitely need someone there.

#10  Re: ALL MAJOR COMPANIES  11 Nov '05 at 11:09
Try all major companies such as Thomson, Crystal, Ski World. They probably would have recruited now but you never know. Also try Ski Total as they have lots of jobs. If you have a CV make sure it is talored to the job you are going for, ie: Chalet Hosting, relevent catering experience and/or menu plan for at least three course evening meals. Bar work: customer serivce/hospitality experience.

All job in ski industry require people that are personable, outgoing and friendly. The expereince can be blagged if you make a good impression.

Good luck!
