on the subject of superfly, now known as 'the feeling', we got this email yesterday

Subject: FEELING GIG - Mon 11th July

>
> The boys and I recently signed a deal with Island Records and we couldn't > have done it without everyone's support..........so we're gonna have a party!

> It's gonna be at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen 2-4 Hoxton Square (next to Blu bar, trendy hair-cut semi-optional) and we'll probably be playing at about 9.30 but come early and catch our mate who's supporting.

time!)

Get along now - the next time you see them it could be at Wembley!

You'd better make sure your ass is in gear if you want to get on top of me

Has to be Mullit for my money. Not only the best band in The Alps but they rocked Cornwall last summer. Yep![/img]

Ok, I know nothing about Alpine bands...

But Russ! You're in Bude! OMG so jealous - do you live there? Used to go on holiday there when a mini munchkin. I remember losing my favourite red jumper, aged 6, after I left it by the seawater pool and the tide came in...
"I am a very good skier...in my mind. However, video evidence suggests that I'm rubbish. I look like a bus driver in a primary-coloured anorak, sitting on an imaginary lavatory. Also I can only turn right. So to mask my embarrassment, and the pain in my thighs, I ski only when very drunk. I can recommend this wholeheartedly." Jeremy Clarkson

I have to agree, while Bluefunkt are pretty good, Mullit have taken the live experience to a whole new level, they truly rock.
Once you've met Glen Plake, nothing quite seems as cool anymore.

Hey Bags

Yep, I live here, right close to the seapool too. I haven't seen your jumper!
