Hi All,

First time working a ski season and could use some advice of what to get/avoid when it comes to gear. Should you look for relatively cheap or is it worth spending the extra?

Any tips of websites or stores to buy from?

Cheers

You don't have to spend a fortune on Kit. Dare2B gear is ok if you don't want to splash a fortune. TKMax is surprising at this time of year. Sometimes some good stock but very hit and miss if they have stuff in or not.

If you intend to ski/board, then look for some decent clothing. A good waterproof/breathable jacket & salopettes are the minimum. Under layers you can work around your own stuff probably if you don't want to spend too much money. Good gloves or Mittens if you get cold too. Helmets are not compulsory and are often just worn to look 'cool'. Try Aldi & Lidl if they still have any of their ski stuff in. As said before TK Maxx do some good gear at v good prices it's just take pot luck if they have what you want. Go on line and look for bargains.
