Make a rule that you have to put the lid down after every time you go. Eventually they realise that it is even more pissing off when you need to leave it a particular way than sometimes having to put the seat down, as it really isn't that important. Within a week everyone will have forgotten there was a rule at all. Unless you live with sad freaks, in which case it might be an idea to move.

hmm totally agree, i dont think that i ever check to make sure it is down, and leaving the lid down involves more effort on their behalfs because they have to lift rather than drop the seat. simple.

it is bad feng shui to leave seat up, all your positive energy and luck and stuff will 'go down the toilet.' also shouldn't leave draws and cupboards open.

Good lets return to the real world where sometimes the seat is left up and sometimes down. I am a bit of a hippy at times but some parts of feng shui are a load of cack. If Feng shui was to be followed then girls would have to put the lid down every time. Very few can be bothered...

Favourite fancy dress night in resort - Beach Party. Great night, and seeing people freezing in beachwear, queuing to get in!
