I must agree with Dino on this - Neve is NOT an Irish name.

Maybe I need a mirror like that

....errrr....how did that randomly get in there? Have you come up with your own nickname??

I asked around the other day what my nickname is and all I got back was guesses of what it could be: "dready Wendy" or "Aussie Wendy". If there were more Wendys in resort, I'm guessing I'd have myself a nickname, like all the Phil(l)s, Daves, Ollies and Traceys.

Apparently aussie wendy wouldn't be too original in LeS Allues and dready wendy isn't really too catchy...rubbish guesses

I might know some aussie dude in Les Allues actually, do you know a guy called Tony? (I forgot where he said he was but I know it is for an aussie company in 3 valleys...)

The subject of nicknames flew in from outa space cos it was being disputed (momentarily) what its legitimate for me to call myself.

So...Wendy, do you rebel aganist being called Choc? ...and so a nick name is born ..lol

Not many remarks about the snow, is everybody taking it for granted or politely ignoring it cos jobs prevent enjoyment ?

You're right - rubbish guesses. My friends are rubbish!

There's an Aussie company in 3Vs?? I can't think of any Aussies called Tony...is he from Melbourne, coz if so, I probably know him - it's only a small place.

I do not rebel against being called Choc: it would be like rebelling against being left-handed. It's just accepted.

The snow is fantastic! Got almost-first lifts this morning and headed up high. Had a brilliant day but it's hard when the fog is so thick that you can't see where you're going. Tomorrow will hopefully be a bit brighter. My arms and legs are like jelly - tomorrow will be hard on Unfit Choc.

Indeed, they are more like wet concrete today...heavy, hard to move and not much use for anything.

I'm hoping that tonight's mix of red wine and pastis (not together) will sort me out for tomorrow.

Back to a modest motoring theme ...

Any recognised "unoficial" way of giving away the France-UK part of a Eurotunnel short term return ?
( A pal will be using the UK-France bit shortly, en route 3V ...)
