Did a Crystal season last year - Never Again.

Off to Les Gets/Portes du Soleil for a month in jan then off to Canada to Fernie for balance of season - cant wait. Treading water in an office to pay for it now and its killing me.
Waiting for the winter.....

ah, sorry I've just looked at where Snowbird is. Is that near The Canyons or park city, or have you been to either of these??

Thanks, thats all very useful info! I'm going to be a liftie in The Canyons, its Deer Valley that still has snowboarding banned, pretty glad about that otherwise I'd be a bit buggered not being able to ride in The Canyons!

I'm not so much bothered about steep terrain, I just like to mess around and play in the parks, so sounds like Park City will be pretty good for that!!

Glad to hear theres a good nightlife, how is it for apres? I hear the American's aren't really up for stumbling off the hill straight into bars with their gear on still? I'm used to France and Mutzig! I guess the 3.6% beer will be a far cry from Mutzig!

Well, if I think of anything else I will be sure to msg you,

Thanks for the info!

yeah it as all a bit werid, I've lived in NY before and I was 19 at the time, which was a major pain in the ass, some gringos I was working with managed to sort me out with fake ID so that was cool. But yeah house parties were the way forward at the time, did go to a few concerts too, which wasnt a problem getting in. Sweet talk the massive door men.

Yeah I remembered everyone getting ID'd all the time, this one women who looked about 40 got asked for ID to buy cigs, ha thought that was quite funny!

Sounds like the way forward is a UT state ID, really dont wanna lose my passport and if you say drivers license is pretty useless then I'm sure I can spare $8 amongst the hundreds of other pounds I'll be spending on flights etc!
