Tonight I will be stir-frying some king prawns with whatever happens to be available in co-op at 7pm on a Friday night.

Could be interesting.

Becers,

Be careful which Co-Op you use, otherwise dinner tonight will be very interesting!

Exactly my opinion on the stuff, which is why I hadn't cooked it in about 3 years until tonight. Tastes quite nice if you cook it with chicken stock instead of water, fluff it with a load of butter, and melt a load of parmesan into it.

Oh, and leave out the polenta.

But no, it actually tastes of something if you put flavours in it, and much quicker to put together than mash. I'll be experimenting with it again in the future.

Elvis - I'm not entirely sure. I might have made them up. I certainly didn't find any in my store room when I rummaged, I had to go and buy some generic white beans. Odd.

Have my confused dreams started working their way into my kitchen life already?

Anyway, I sold every portion of both plat, and pipped a new record for covers served last night. Lets all have a glass of fermented tabe juice to celebrate.

I'm not eating anything right now. I wish I was. I did manage proper food for lunch today, which was rather nice. Compared to ski school scrapings anyway.

Just did interval runs - 4x1600m at max effort (7:02, 7:33, 6:57 & 6:58 ) but where I chose to do this run also turned out to be the queue to get to the car park for the athletics at Crystal Palace - tough crowd!

Anyway, to the point... I came home to my usual post exercise food of Milkshake (*skimmed milk) and a cheese sandwich, at which point my stomach decided that was NOT a fun game so ejected it almost immediately.

The problem I how have is I've no idea what to eat for lunch, I don't feel hungry, but did just burn 1,136 calories so could probably do with something.

Rice cakes (polystyrene) topped with Apple and Pear spread that a doctor friend told me looked like a blood clot. Lovely.

Lindt Petit Desserts? Epic chocolate. Got some stashed across town. Eating it later.

Here - a single square of Lindt Irish coffee flavour, and most of a bar of dark chocolate mousse Petit Dessert.

Smashing great chocolatey goodness.

Eating - crack pops with fat milk.

Jerk

In a tub, place: a chopped onion, a chopped celery stick, three cloves of garlic, two big thumbs of chopped ginger, six or seven red chillies (depending on heat), the stalks from a bunch of parsley and a bunch of coriander, six chopped anchovies, a shot glass of salt, two shots of sugar, half a shot of smoked paprika, half a shot of thyme, half a shot of curry powder, half a teaspoon of english mustard, and about a shot of cooking oil. Blend with a stickblitz until smoothish.

Rub on chicken, pork, fish, your balls, etc.
