Cook position - full time end June - end September. Opportunity to spend the summer in the Alps enjoying the mountains, climbing, mounting biking, trekking etc. Good rate of pay.

The role is to work alongside the chef preparing hot and cold meals, and serving food to order during service. Must also be able to run service independently.

Essential skills for this role:

* Ability to work fast and under pressure in a small space whilst staying calm. A positive and enthusiastic personality.
* Ability to follow instructions and be consistent in your work – ability to accurately follow a specific recipe
* A hands-on approach with a willingness to participate in all kitchen activities including cleaning and washing.
*GNVQ level 2 or valid similar experience as well as demonstration of 2 years in a similar position of responsibility in a kitchen.

We are an independent deli run by a small friendly team, and are looking for someone that fits in with the relaxed atmosphere, and is passionate about preparing consistently high quality fresh food.
