#1  spare seat in the car to Tignes/Val  3 Nov '11 at 14:30
Looking very likely ill be driving out to Tignes late Nov or very early Dec and the passenger seat will be empty so i figured id post up and see if anyone was looking for a lift out there. I dont mind nipping you over to val though as its not far out of the way.

All i ask is a chip in a bit for fuel and tolls, ill book the ferry for 2 then let you know how much that is but you can get a crossing for 30 quid or so.

Hey Curtis.

I'm interested in grabbing a ride to Tignes. I start work there on the 28th November so would like to arrive on the 25th or 26th ideally. Do you still have a space and if so would these dates work for you? Also how big in your car and how much luggage would i be able to fit in? I'll probably have a couple of cases and my board.

Let me know your thoughts my email is nikkilisette@googlemail.com

Thanks
Nikki

Hi,

looking to head out to Val for the 3rd of Dec if you've got any space, happy to split costs. Let me know if it suits you or not? Hopefully shouldn't have too much stuff.

Thanks
Adam

Hey Curtis,

Just to say that I'm planning to drive over to Val d'Isere around the 22nd November as working the season as a doc there. If you're not planning on driving yourself eventually, welcome to a lift with me.

Just e-mail me to chat more if you need to: andrewjackojackson@hotmail.com

All the best,

Andrew

bump, iv not got a date of either 1st or 2nd Dec probably the 1st and im planning to get a really early ferry that gets me into calais VERY ealry. I think it leaves dover at like 2am. A little hardcore but its also the cheapest ferry and can get a few hours kip on the ferry too.

so if anyone wants in on a lift im not sure how much space ill have but if you fancy splittin juice im happy to take you to val or tignes

Curtis ... if you're going to Calais, you ain't getting "a few hours' kip". Max time is about 90 minutes ...

Gropers,

Not in anything above a force 6/7 it isn't!

Once did it in a howling 8/9 and it took nearly four hours, of which about two were standing off Dover waiting for a bit of calm to try and dock.

Of course I don't think anyone on board was sleeping, everyone was throwing up or hanging on to something on the way to throw up.

Cheers
Adam.
