Larry, sounds like you know what you're talking about.
My boyf is about to do another season and I'm staying in the UK, if it works out its great but if not then c'est la vie!
If we're meant to be together then it will be even better when he gets back...

Oh babe - don't sound so sad.

Just occupy yourself while you wait. There must be things you can plan to do and go to while your apart?

Go to the gym lots - basically anything to take your mind off notbeing able to see each other, and think how good it'll be when you do see each other.

It's not the end of the world babe, you know it's not, you just gotta try and be patient! xxx

Claire - good luck babe - I'm sure you'll be jetting off at some point to visit him during the season anyway...

What's that saying...... if you love something, set it free. If it comes back it's yours to keep, if it doesn't it never was.

If you do move up to Doncaster, there will be plenty for you to do re snowsports - see events on Natives for Castleford & Sheffield slopes, and the ski show at the G-Mex.

You need to give yourself a prep talk hun...I'm going to go on holiday whilst he is away, do something new, meet new friends, go to the gym and be as independant as he is..that's why we get on so well...Also I will look AMAZING by the time he gets back and he wont be able to resist me! He went last season as well and we're still together now...10 weeks is nothing if you keep busy - specially when you compare it to the whole season!
Have fun whatever you do..that's the point of life! x

It's not all that bad being apart, my wife and kids stay at home when i'm away doing stuff out here, they do come and visit and i go home but after 10 years together you need to have your own space. If this one is the one for you then you have the rest of your lives.

But i must say every time i go home WWWWHHHHEEEYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! :censored:
it's like meeting her all over again.

Stay where you are geeky it aint long

I much prefer the version that ends "if it doesn't... hunt it down and kill it"

And my 2 cents (Not that i have any experience of living with anyone but):

I say don't do it. The bonus of living with your man is the ability to spend all day naked and shag on the kitchen table at will (i think). But you'd be moving in with his family! ops:

test the raltionship by moving to Edinburgh and sleeping with some snowboarder dude for a while. If the relationship lasts through that then you know you are on to a winner
