Piste Ski's //

Surrey want to be in the alps

Hey guy's,

stuck in a dilemma. am a ski host for the season and have some old crappy skis for piste skiing and want to buy some new ones.

firstly do i buy them now or when i get to resort secondly and one have any good tips on what piste skis to buy. i have a set of Rossignol B3's for all my off piste needs just need something for piste skiing.

i never said i could ski off piste i just said i had them. a silly buy last year. but will try and improve that part of my skiing over the season.

They will do for mid season but get TO hire skis for begining and end of season so you don't trash yours.

Even so, if you've skied before on snow (or even seen a mountain), you're well over-qualified.

best to wait until in resort and until about jan..... the some shops might do you a deal - leave your passport and pay over the season, or let you try out some skis etc......

taking them some cake never harmed anybody!!!!

What's your weight?
What's your abilty?
How do you like to ski? (straight down hill, big GS turns, short SLs, somewhere in between, mainly on the piste, mainly in the park,...)

im 20stone so around 133kg, 6ft 2, i like big turns on piste. am after purley a piste ski as said have my B3's for powder and off piste. any ideas

Saw on another thread that you are working for Ski Olymic this season - so am I!!!
Do you know which resort you fancy?
I have asked for courchevel but not had a definate yes yet, was there last season as a chalet girl but doing bar this year.
