I've never really bothered checking this out before, but I found the bit with "overheard in the chatroom" pretty funny. It made me feel like I was in big brother or something with a selection of our random chatter highlighted for public interest.

I didn't know we were all famous

I think the only people that get that newsletter are us, so we're not that famous really.

Saying that, I was quite pleased the first time something I said got put on the newsletter.

the best was when natives wrote an admittedly small article about the bar for sale that I found on ebay, mentioned me by name.

Definitely one for the grandkids.

Never sure about the sarcasm on message boards, could just be someone being a d&%k!

Thought about being sarcastic in reply to that but honestly, yes I am occasionally sarcastic online but much less than in real life because its hard to convey what you actually mean.

Nope, it goes out to a LOT of people. Iain could give you the figures, but basically it's to anyone who registers on the site - not just the forum, including employers. etc. I think it's in the region of 17,000 people who get it!

Vix, i've grabbed the data, but something doesn't look quite right, so we may have to have a stewards enquiry. You are up 1 place, though!
