Mine's about that, but then I favour the old 'measure up one side and down the next' technique.

But since you've only done that a) to show off and b) because you are a geek, the information isn't of much help to someone trying to decide how best to take music to resort.

My point exactly... but in one line.

I have to admit my penis isn't 13 inches long... just 10

well, yes it may be of help - because it cost about the same as 5x1GB cards for her phone, yet it holds roughly 15,000 songs, you can put photos on it, and the sound quality is excellent.

One point i will make is that with a dedicated music player you can listen for 12 - 24 hours untill the battery goes flat.

With a phone it's far less long, and when the battery goes flat you can't make a call!

If you get a dock though you can plug that in and use it as a very mini hifi. First nice thing I've ever said about Apple I think

or if you get a decent mp3 player with a line out you can do this without spending an extra £50 on a dock

another one of my friends bought a photo ipod a few weeks ago - so far it has frozen up several times, once so bad that it wouldn't turn off and she had to wait until the battery died. The buttons on the scroll wheel sometimes don't work and it'll only turn off from the remote control.

I think that's actually EVERY SINGLE PERSON i know that has an ipod that has had a fault develop within a couple of months.

they're probably too busy pumping cash into the marketing to think about the problems with the equipment
