about the cpu as a 3rd deck, can definitely be done - hook the cpu into a line input on a mixer, then use one of the virtual dj packages to play the tunes

Cracking, many thanks. Anyone got any recommendations as the the best (functionality and user friendlyness) package?

sorry...

personal i think he is a genius and is making DJing a little more interesting...

Most people can mix a record into another... but bringing it effects, over laying other tracks, live editing/remixing and scratching does make it a little more interesting...

though I understand what you mean, sometimes he does go over the top, i have told him that on several occasions... also told him to play more Jacko... but no...

have you heard his remix of KLF - What Time is Love?

stanton warriors were doing that sorta thing in d!cks last season - one guy djing while the other layered in effects / acapellas etc

not that anyone other than me noticed any of it tho

incidentally i just got the oxygen 8 midi keyboard they're using in that photo - might look at hooking that up in the setup this season!

I swear i can see a Creative MP3 player, if you look closely
Hmm guess even the industry is split between ipod and mp3, cor, do you recon Sasha has just called James Zabiela saying,
"cor, i've been reading this thread on a ski chat forum of all places, those guys really raise some interesting points, especially that Horse, i think i might PM him, to give him some money to say thanks for all the helpful advice, hell, i'm going to give hime a job as my chief advisor, as long as he's happy to work out of my chalet in the Alps, and he doesn't mind working after the lifts have closed and as long as he doesn't want more than 50k a year for his troubles"

See y'all in the alps :relax:

I went on a boat party in Southampton this year and Jame Zabiela was playing, he had just got back from Bulgaria and the airline had lost his records, he had a small packet of CDs and his Ipod, yet still managed to paly a 4 hour set...

He used a sampler to record music from his ipod or something and then remixed and cut up tracks from the CD while playing... its was genius and amazing to listen to...

Meaning, Ipod for Pro and Show...
