I've already voted for the season option but I guess it depends on your prospects at your current job... If you dont think you can get something better or similar on return then I might reconsider the vote.

My age has nothing to do with should I/Could I do a season as I know I can.
At the moment I am in IT Recruitment and have quite good prospects of opening my own office, I am just feeling that I want to get out of the pressure of the job which is relentless.

I intend to quit my job in a year (it would be sooner if financal possible) and never go back. I would much rather be doing seasons and traveling.
I think you have to do what you want to do or you will be sat at work/home wishing you were somewhere else, and there is no point in that!

Bad move. They've just lost the Ashes and will want some Poms to take it out on.

How long do you think you'd last in a pub full of 'sporting' Aussies?

We haven't won the footie world cup since '66 and we still go on about that!
So I think we will going on about the Ashes for a fair while as well, seen as we have been through so many dark cricketing years.
