Val Thorens' website webcams start up on Saturday so we should be able to see some real snow there, Hopefully!

Admitedly it was from snow-forecast.com, but it was confirmed by the silent red-indian man who sleeps under my bed. he can smell snow from weeks away.

Although i share your concerns over my sources, to be fair, the last time i used snow-forecast.com, in january, it underestimated the week's snow by about two foot. it was that amazing 2 weeks dump that fell over most of the alps from 17th to 29th Jan this year. Will never forget that.

I will I was in the alps from new year too the 14th of Jan! I think it snowed once!
