I applied to be a hotel assistant but instead was offered an interview to be a maintenance person. I've worked as an electrician for 3 years in an office environment and know nothing about household electrics. I also don't drive and don't meet the requirement of being 21 years old.. I'm obviously going to have to ring and tell them i couldn't do the job. This is a big downer because it's the only responce i've had from any of my applications and i can't even do it.. Maybe next year.

Don't give up Jack. Do ring and explain the situation. There may still be a chance to work in a hotel or chalet. It doe's sound as though whoever sent you the "offer" didn't look at your CV too closely!
