Help! It's pre-season party time again, and this year's theme is 'Children's Playground' (coz we all spend our winter in a big kid's playground).

So, all I've come up with so far is bouncy castle outfit, cabbage patch kid (hated them though), toy car, and various other things that are doable but not amazing.

Anyone go any ideas that are very, very cool?

Actually saw someone dressed as him at an end-of-season party earlier this year!

Playground food - could be good...

The hardest thing is that I'm Aussie, there will be lots of Brits and lots of French, and we all have different words for things, so if I went as a flying fox (zip wire/Tyrolienne), not everyone would get it. We also have different childhoods (no Bagpuss in Aus or France, no Freckles in France or UK, no chocolate-bar-in-a-baguette for mid-morning school snack in UK or Aus).

Play-doh Hair Factory might be a winner...

So, I already bought a kids' car and could wear that...just not sure the idea is the *best* one.

I do quite like this sandwich board climbing frame idea.....will see what I can source - thanks!

So true (especially since it's my place!). Taking party pies/sausage rolls/kiddy party food out of the oven with a car or climbing frame around me might not be the easiest!
