This is your chance to have a bit of feedback on the London Ski and Board Show....

If you would like to see other features, give us an idea of what you'd like eg Toboggan Run, Half Pipe, Bigger Teaching Slope, Snowboard Kicker, Ice Climbing, Snow Mobiles, Rail Slide

although working for S&R next to the slope with the same music over and over for 5 days can drive you slightly crazy....

Yes but scrap the seating and add some park stuff, a bar downstairs would be nice too and add to the atmosphere which an be a bit diluted. Thought last year better than for some while. If I didn't live close and it's a chance to meet up with some mates and officially kick the season off, would have felt pretty disappointed with previous 3 or 4 years.

Think the length of show was much better, even though it meant a very busy weekend. Would definitely keep the big air slope, but probably forget about the seating area - as far as I remember it was always fairly quiet........but then I wasn't there all week!

Wasn't sure about the dancers while the big air was on....couldn't take them seriously I'm afraid....

Bar area was much better in previous years, didn't like the little 'cafe bar' type areas, was better when Brewskis had large bar area.

Bring back the Cornwall Pasty stand though

OK, here's my thoughts:
1. A halfpipe would generate more interest than the big air slope

2. (and here's one for the business people...) How about having a DEMO slope - where punters could TRY OUT the skis that S&R etc are selling - they are more likely to generate business that way.
I post, therefore I am

Yep had forgotten the dancers, how could I? Kept hoping one of the jibbers would stack into one of the bikers and wipe out the whole dancing fashion ponce parade. Is that really the future image of skiing, bring back the fluro one-piece! Think I was distracted by hero worshipping Glenn Plake. Saw him in Squaw I think, first Olympia now Squaw is he stalking me?

[color=green:1c37ba77aa]Definitely ditch the dancers, seriously annoying.

Big air was awesome and I liked the seating area. I think a half pipe would be great but not the instead of the big air.

I also really enjoyed the rail at the back, so more features throughout Olympia would be cool.[/color:1c37ba77aa]

The dancers were pants. Exactly what market were they aimed at? People who are interested in big air - ie, interested in some real skills and balls - are only going to be distracted by a mob of non-skiing ponces pratting about in 'fashions' that only a deranged billy would wear.

I'm not that bothered about the big air, except inasmuch as the ski show needs skiing, or it really is just a bloody great shopping mall with fake bargains and expensive beer. A half-pipe might be a good plan . . . or a few moguls.

And speaking of beer, how about the concept of selling the stuff at a reasonable price? I know beer that costs slightly more than liquified platinum is an alpine tradition, but I could put up with a dose of unreality in return for keeping at least a few pence in my pocket . . .
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
