Can I join?! I'm coming over to Meribel on 27th Nov, it'll be my first season and I don't know anyone yet!

Welcome to the party.

I very sorry Cozz, that was a rather chilly welcome on my part. Was my last post as I fled the office! Come join the Natives Meribel Massive. It's goin to be a blast.
:P :P

Thank you I didn't read it as chilly don't worry! Can't wait to get out to Meribel, heard that it's a really lively place with great skiing (although I'm not that great -but hoping I will be by April). Am just stressing about what gear to get and what to take out now!

Ooh and I think the idea of a party with name tags would be a great idea -maybe penniless_playa could bring Fred along too?

Fred's not sure he want's to come anymore what with calls for his picture to be replaced! He's a touchy little hair fairy.

I see...well, I'll see what I can do, but you'll have to bring him out to Meribel if that's gonna happen...

Be warned today - my company have just given us champers for lunch (why would I want to leave a place like this?!) so feeling a little giddy...

Lack of raspberry beer is generally not tolerated and is not ideal, but I'm gonna forgive them this time. Especially as I have also been able to nab a whole bottle of champagne for me and the girls to have before we go out tomorrow night!!!

Ha! No. Waiting for further delivery of envolope files. Working in student records is exciting, really it is!

Have a good night tomorrow - working (in the loosest sense) two jobs has put the dampers on my social life. Flying up to edinburgh in the middle of Nov though to help run BUDS for bucket loads of rowdy students - any body else likely to be at this event? Should be a very drunken enterprise - mwahahahahaa!

As for real photos the whole photo thing looks a bit ambitious to be honest but as I'm unemployed have no excuse not to try!

I heard a rumour its going to be the coldest winter on record ( well heard it on the bbc radio so vaguely possibly almost true). Anyone else heard this or know of any decent long term forecast ?
