For the last two seasons I have been skiing in Val Thorens. Me and a mate will be heading back out again this winter! The only problem is we have spare space in our appartment but not spare cash!! There are two more spaces each costing around £1150 for 5 month contract i.e. very cheap!! Part time work can be easily found whilst there. This is what I have done the last two years, it also means you get ALOT more spare time than if you work for a British tour company!! I worked in a hotel for 20 hours a week and earnt more money than all the chalet staff did - I was on French minmum wage! Almost all my shifts were of an evening too so I could ski all day everyday. There's also plenty other work (transfer repping, bar jobs, ski shops etc) so if you have a spare grand and a bit it is deffinitly the way to do a season. If anyones interested contact me at shmounal@hotmail.com
Peace, Mike
