Have you guys sorted your accomodation etc already? I'm not arriving until mid-December so I'm going to be pushing my luck.

All I have planned is I have a little bit in savings and my winter tyres on so I am going to drive down and just see what happens. Probably not the best move, but hopefully it will work out!

Going to see if I can keep working one day a week with what I do at the moment as that would see me through nicely.

Have you guys been to Morzine before? What's it like for seasons?

Yeah, got accommodation sorted a few weeks ago. When is everyone heading out? I don't think the lifts open til just before christmas but I might head out a week or two earlier just to get used to the place.

Morzine is quality, its actually really underrated i feel, the resort, is a fantastic blend of everything you would possibly want, It has two Night club, one of thems called opera, at thats a quality night out! so many different bars and cafes, its got an ice hockey team which play on a wednesday, which is very popular for seasonaires, as that tends to be the day off ( well it is for me). the skiing is also brilliant, everything ranging from good off pieste, and some of the best parks in Europe within the Port Du Soleil. Its basically a perfect resort for anyone wishing to do a season. In my opinion (Because i am from the north) i feel it has such a much better atmosphere that say the three valley, which sometimes is considered where stuck up seasonaires flock to? But thats up to the person i guess

I am heading out for my first season.... Totally on my lonesome. Have rented a room in a chalet, or rather a bed in a shared room.....(nervous ) and have created a fb group morzine seasonal workers. I want to try to make a friend ofpr two before I head out....

It's practically next door I've been to Les Gets a few times and it's a nice place. Only been for a week at a time there though.
