Can anyone tell me how much this place costs roughly per night. Need a place to stay for 4 nights in early november. Any other ideas on budget hotels in Le Lac or Lavachet would be most helpful. Don't really want to go all the way down to the hostel in les boisses if I can help it and not likely to find an appt for just 4 nights.

Any ideas?

At a guess, €75 per night.

If your only in Tignes for 4 nights then its worth staying at the Alpaka. The crowd there is sweet and yeah its run by a bird and dude called Jill + Tony who are pretty sound. Perfect place for a short stay rather than a crappy massive block of hotels or a ripped up priced chalet.

Thanks seejay - that's the advice I wanted to hear!! Fancy having an excuse to stay a few nights in a hotel before moving into a tiny appartment somewhere for the other 4 weeks of training!

Funny, I gave him a link to it above, but that doesn't seem to be what he wanted!

I have looked at the link WTFH- many thanks I couldn't find a website for them before. Just waiting to hear from them about a price for single occupancy for November.

Seen the dog before - he's wicked!
