I'm looking for any experienced seasonnaires to offer some advice.
My partner and I are putting our house up for rent next winter (2015/16) and planning on shipping our 2 dogs out to the alps to work a season (realising our dreams before its too late!)
Does anyone have any advice or experience in this area?

Having looked at private accommodation it seems that we shouldn't have too much trouble finding somewhere that will let us bring the dogs. But i have heard that renting privately can be an expensive way to live in a resort?

We are definitely planning on working whilst we are out there but I have a feeling that we might have to go about it a slightly unconventional way if we want to bring the dogs.
Would people advise trying to find accommodation through a job? e.g. hotel porter that includes cost of food and accomm? Or is renting privately a good way to do it?

What are people's financial experiences with renting privately or living through jobs?

Thanks in advance!
