Wakestock is Europe's largest
wakeboard music festival featuring some of the country's leading DJs
and bands, and the best wakeboard riding the UK has ever seen. Now in its eigth year, the action runs
from Friday 20 - Saturday 21 July 2007 at Abersoch Bay, Penrhos, Pwhelli in North Wales.
It's also a chance to enjoy some of the UK's finest beaches, restaurants, cafes, bars & some of the coolest shops around. This area boasts some of the UK's best surf spots & sailing conditions on offer.

Superb line up for 2007
Wakestock can now announce their amazing completed 2007 line up including the addition of hot New Yorkers, THE BRAVERY, who will be headlining the event on the Open Air Stage on Saturday night. The band will top the billing to join other stage headliners, Mark Ronson, Ferry Corsten, Just Jack, Dirty Pretty Things and latest addition The Enemy.
Acclaimed Brit band THE ENEMY are set to rock the Main Arena. The band are currently touring the UK promoting their forthcoming album “We’ll Live and Die in These Towns” out on the 2nd July. Their contagious latest top 10 single “Away From Here” is getting constant airplay on Radio 1 and MTV. Having previously supported both The Fratellis and Kasabian, their time has come to take the headline role and ensure an explosive finale to Wakestock 2007.
They join the huge list of awesome bands confirmed to play the Saturday of Wakestock this year, which also includes THE WOMBATS, JACK PENATE , DIRTY PRETTY THINGS, GET CAPE WEAR CAPE FLY, Air Traffic, Hot Puppies, Popup, The Blims, and Derwyddion Dr Gonzo, not forgetting legendary DJ Norman Jay who is joined by Brandon Block, Hoxton Whores and Oliver Lang.
Headlining Friday night
Headlining Friday night is internationally renowned DJ, producer and man of the moment Mark Ronson. His new album “ Version” released earlier this month went straight in at number 2. He will be travelling over from the States with his full 10 piece live band to perform at Wakestock this year – ready for one of the highlights of the weekend!
Just Jack joins Mark Ronson & Ferry Corsten as Friday’s headliners this year. His first single “Stars in Their Eyes” has now spent over 11 weeks in the charts and his new single “Glory Days” which Radio 1 have A listed is out on April 16. Just Jack is rapidly earning a reputation as a fantastic live performer and is currently finishing his sold out UK tour.
UK and Sweden-based house act the SHAPESHIFTERS whose hits include anthems such as “Lola’s Theme” will be joined on the Friday night by MR HUDSON AND THE LIBRARY, UGLY DUCKLING, YOUSEF, THE CUBAN BROTHERS, GOLDIEROCKS and many more.

Wakeboarding is a big air spectator sport which has boomed to become
the fastest growing sport in the world, and one of the most fashionable
board sport. Wakestock combines the thrill of extreme sports with cutting
edge music - it has grown since it began four years ago to become one
of the main players in the UK festival scene.

includes camping - worth £100 - and gets you access to Friday
and Saturday night's live music at the Penrhos site, access to the on
