the saas fee ride 2005 - 23 July

This summer will once again see many of Europe's top freeskiers compete in the Allalin Snow Park and Skier Cross course on the Saas-Fee glacier in Switzerland. Watch last years event now by clicking the TV screen on the Ride homepage and see just how good summer skiing can be!.

This year's event is moving on to another level with big developments in the size of the half pipe and skier cross course. On the day you can expect to see International team riders, DJ's spinning tunes in the Allalin Park, Ski Testing, the Ride Digital Photo Competition, the Popcorn Bar After Party and loads of prizes for competitors and spectators.

North facing slopes
Saas-Fee is the perfect location for the comp due to the north facing glacier, which keeps the snow in great condition and the safety standards high. Rider Information
The 3 disciplines for this year are Skier Cross, Half Pipe and Big Air. All of the event details and timings are on the website on the competition and events pages. To submit an entry please save the PDF or Word Document from the competition page of the website and email it. You can also print and send it to Ride Freesport, Hotel Dom, 3906 Saas-Fee, Switzerland. The final start list will be presented 16 July and displayed on the competition page of the website.

Freeski Camps
The British Freeski Camps 2005 in association with Freeski Britain will be held summer 2005 in Saas Fee, Switzerland. The camps, running 09-30 July, will be focused on bringing the British freeskiing community closer together and building a basis for training riders to become top level Big Mountain, Skier Cross and New School competitors.
