Challenge to all seasonnaires
For
the perfect end of season lift, the X Challenge is a totally new
and exciting one day challenge. The Drambuie On Ice X Challenge
is being held in Val d'Isere on 21st March 2003 and will be hosted
by the UKs number one skier Alain Baxter, who is set to open the
first run of the games.

How to enter
This is a great chance to pit your skills against other seasonaires
in a series of X Games style challenges, which span a wide range
of competition catagories. If you are
a seasonnaire and wish to register for the Drambuie On Ice X Challenge,

Race on the Grand Stade Bonnevie
Entrants from the Three Valleys will be able to race a little later
in the qualifiers which start at ten and will need to be at the
start gate no later then 11:30. Athletes will have a chance to inspect
the course from 9:00am for 25mins before we send down pacesetters.A

Seasonnaires, hits Val d'Isere on Friday 21 March 2003 on the Grand
Stade Bonnevie.
With an estimated prize fund of E11,000 including
E1,500 1st prize in each of the 4 categories - don't miss out on
this great end of season opportunity.Register NOW for the X-Challenge
via the website or race offices, situated in Val d'Isere at Pacific
Bar and The Tavern in Meribel.
All applicants must attend a race office to confirm their attendance
and obtain their Bib.
Format of race:
Individual Timed Eliminations 9:00am to 12:30pm
Finals 1:00pm to 4:00pm - 4 competitors per heat knock out
(2 go through from each heat)
Prize giving in the finish area 4:00pm

How to get there

Afterparty mayhem
It will be a great day out for both competitors and spectators,
with live Music from DJ Steve Tennant and prize giving from Alain
Baxter who will also run the course. Post competition parties will
be held at Pacific Bar & Dicks Tea Bar that evening with great give
aways and free tasters of Drambuie.
