OZ UPDATE: FROM GRAEME MARSH

22 September 2001

The End Is Nigh.....

With Selwyn closed and the closing of Thredbo imminent it is with great sadness that I bring you my final snow report of our season here.

Resort op's are working hard to push up snow to give us as much skiing as possible as things draw to a close here, we currently have around 35 lifts still running and up on Olympic you can still have some fun as at Blue Cow.

As you can imagine it's heavy spring skiing with a thin "porridge like" cover growing heavier through the day in the unseasonable heat. The slopestyle and halfpipe are still open and still a lot of fun, but all round things are definitely on the wind down !!!

They are hoping to open until October 14th but I'm off for a spot of surf in Bondi before jetting back to the UK.

So it's farewell snow fiends and only 8 weks till I get to do it all over again....wo-hooo !!!!!

Take care

Graeme Marsh
